The shelter is in Szczecin at Kopalniana 2. You can get there following the direction of Battalionów Chłopskich in the Uroczysko Zdroje park (in the Szczecin - Zdroje district). The road goes straight up the hill, under the viaduct, to the Szmaragdowe Lake, where there is a shelter on the right side of the escarpment.
The bunker is located near the phenomenal forest Szmaragdowe Lake, created at the beginning of the 20th century because of flooding a chalk mine. Before the war, there was a German anti-aircraft artillery command post, and after the war a training center for fire brigades. In recent years, as part of the revitalization and retrofitting of shelter facilities, the Szczecin Tourist Information Center "Szmaragdowe - Zdroje" was established, it manages the entire museum facility. Due to the legally protected wintering grounds of bats, the underground of the facility is open to visitors from April 16 to September 30 (admission free).
