The beach is located in the northern part of Świnoujście. It stretches from the border with Germany in the west to the Western Breakwater in the east.

The beach in Świnoujście is the broadest beach in Poland and one of the most important attractions of the city. It stretches over the distance of 10 kilometres, on the islands of Uznam and Wolin. It is difficult to determine precisely its width, because it is growing each year. Currently, it can be even 150 metres wide. This is a result of the abrasion of the island shores and the decrease in the sea water level resulting from the wind that moves the masses of water in the Baltic Sea. An interesting fact is that the areas that used to a beach in the early 20th century are located deep into the land.

Each year, the beach in Świnoujście attracts crowds of tourists craving for the sun and the bath in the Baltic Sea. Because of this, the Świnoujście-Uznam bathing beach was marked out. Since 2006, it has been receiving the Blue Flag certification each year. This means that the beach meets exacting requirements concerning water quality, beach cleanliness, and security Sunbathers can use water slides, spring boards, motorboats with pontoons, a water scooter rental service, showers, changing rooms, and numerous cafés. During the summer season, the beach is guarded by qualified lifeguards. A perfect attraction for people fond of active recreation is going to be a westward stroll and a visit in the former imperial health resort in Ahlbeck.
